How to enable Bluetooth and make my device discoverable.

Bluetooth is a very common feature on mobile phone, it helps us connect Bluetooth devices to our mobile phones. We connect Bluetooth headsets via Bluetooth, we connect selfie sticks via Bluetooth we even share files via the Bluetooth connection. Before direct WiFi became popular we were using Bluetooth to share files like music, videos and pictures. Though it did not allow us to share java games and applications but it was useful.

But now Bluetooth became complicated with smart phones, some of use to just enable the Bluetooth and ready to go. But now you can enable Bluetooth and still not discoverable. Today I will show you how to enable Bluetooth and make your device discoverable to all bluetoh devices next to you

First of all you need to switch you android smartphone on, tap the menu icon at the bottom center of your home screen. Now tap settings and tap Bluetooth just below WiFi. After tapping the Bluetooth option, you will see a slide switch at the to. The switch is used to enable and disable the Bluetooth chip on your android smartphone. But sliding the switch to enable Bluetooth does not mean you are ready to receive files or the Bluetooth device next to you can connect to your device.

Now we need to make the device discoverable. To do this you need to first enable your device Bluetooth using the slide switch at the top. Now that the Bluetooth is enable, tap on the option button, the option button icon might 3 dots on your top left of your screen or bottom left. Sometime you might need to use the option button on your phone if your phone is not using on screen home and back buttons. After getting to the options you will tap visibility and set it to "never".
