Why is the ringer volume down but the volume is at 100%

How to fix ringer problem

The ringer of a smartphone is loud enough for you to hear the phone when it rings from meters away from where the phone is. You also get to increase or decrease the ringer volume to the volume level of your choice. After a while of using your smartphone you will notice that the ringer is no longer as loud as it was when it was new. You will end up increasing the volume of the ringer to the maximum level but the sound is still very low as if the volume level is at 10%.

No need to panic, this is a common issue faced by almost 60% cellphone users in this world. Today I going to help you solve and prevent this problem to happen again. This problem is caused by metal dust stuck on your smartphone ringer. The ringer is made o a thin plastic, magnet and a coil. When the metal dust gets to the ringer, it traps the plastic refuse it freedom to move and make louder sound. The more dust gets stuck to your ringer, the lower the sound gets.

To remove the dust from the ringer you do not need any special tool, you only need a magnetic screwdriver. Open your phone to access the ringer in your phone. Most ringer and the music speaker and it mostly facing the back side of the pone. When you get to the ringer, remove it gentle from where it is mounted and you will see the metal dust stuck on it. Put the magnetic screwdriver and catch all the dust out of the ringer. It will not be a quick job, it might take about 10 minutes to get all the dust out.

To prevent the dust from blocking your ringer, you need to put you phone away from dusty areas and always clean your pockets before you put your phone in. More specialty those who are working in dusty environments. You can use a cellphone bag to put your phone to keep it away from dust.
